I Heart Local Music has gone to print! After years of delivering nonstop news and media coverage of the local music scene, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching a quarterly magazine.

The first issue will come out in June, with a release party planned for June 22nd at the Jackpot Music Hall in Lawrence, where Approach, CS Luxem, and The Bad Ideas will perform. The magazine will be free to the public and distributed only at Lawrence coffee shops and venues on the Black Lives Matter Solidarity List, as well as Love Garden Records.

I Heart Local Music has been bringing attention to the vibrant and eccentric live music scene in Lawrence, Kansas City, and beyond for more than ten years. The magazine allows us to reach out to a wider audience, as well as recruit a larger staff for the music scene, which is growing at an exciting and rapid pace.
