A colorful and visually stunning celebration erupted at the Granada to celebrate one of history’s most influential artists. David Bowie was honored via performances from a hodgepodge of Lawrence musicians and songwriters— including members from La Guerre, Narkalark, CS Luxem, and Your Friend. Additionally, an artist provided David Bowie face painting, which left several revelers with flashy, glittery designs splashed across their faces. There was not a frown to be found as attendees gleefully danced the night away and (in true Bowie spirit) donned the highest and most unique fashion they could find.
