Listen, guys. This is going to be a banner year for Black Luck. The punk rockers formerly known as Black on Black suffered a series of setbacks at the end of 2014, and decided to own 2015.

They shed their misfortunes and left their drama at the door. They added a member, ditched an old tour and planned out a fairly badass one for the Spring, changed their name, and are working on releasing yet another slew of new music (an album they’ll be plugging away at this year). When you’ve got nothing to lose, you have everything to gain.

What’s left is a team of renegade heroes in the local music scene. Now that they’ve added an extra guitarist (a severely talented multi-instrumentalist who temporarily filled in on drums for them last year), their powers are amplified. Think of them as a bunch of transformers joining together to form Rocktimus Prime. With that kind of power bursting out of the stage, you’re left with some fairly intimidating motherfuckers. Seriously, they’re quite tall and agitated, and some of them have some pretty big muscles. We wouldn’t fuck with them.

They debuted the new lineup (and name) at the Jackpot on Friday night. Give a listen to how Stella got her groove back:
