How was your holiday? Lusty Flowers spent the occasion recording a new album featuring covers of songs by local musicians.

Semi-appropriately titled I Have No Friends, the album features musician Lewis Guillen (pictured in Arc Flash to the left) covers nothing but his friends from the SeedCo scene. You’ll find fuzzy and agitated renditions of songs by Oils, CS Luxem, Dean Monkey and the Dropouts, and more.

Guillen took just two days over Christmas to record the cover album featuring artists from the Whatever Forever label. It’s a grand gesture of unity in one of Lawrence’s tightest collectives. You can listen to the album below:
