Saturday night at The jackpot brought a powerhouse lineup of ear candy by the likes of Chambers, The Sluts, local boys gone Chicago The Noise FM, and Westerners.

After an emotional set of incredible harmonies atop somber, indie rock tunes by Texas natives Chambers, Westerners kicked the night into high gear with their signature level of intensity. Warming up every bit of stage as the Lawrence band can’t help but do.

With the stage barely cool from the fire brought by Westerners, The Noise FM all but destroyed the room with their brand of kick-ass, straight-up-rock tunes and killer use of stage lighting.

Closing out the night, The Sluts kept the rock coming and the heat high to the very end with their singular, two-man live show of growling vocals and drumming so abusive it has to be illegal.
