The temperatures soared, but folks still pounded the pavement for the increasingly popular Busker Fest in Downtown Lawrence. For three days, magicians, acrobats, and fire eaters set up camp on every corner of the downtown area in order to give pedestrians a unique insight into the life of a busker.

Friday was an especially lively night for musicians and local buskers (such as Tyler Gregory and Barry Washboard Barnes) hitting the streets. Photographer LeRoy Pristach shows us just some of the many musicians who made a big impact at the street party.
