On Friday night, Key Party brought a change of pace to the Replay when they indulged an excitable summer night’s crowd with a diverse set.

Key Party makes super cute indie pop music that’s easily digestible and easy to love. Backed by an all-star cast of local musicians, the pleasant tunes are heavy on the synths. You may even catch frontwoman Kirsten Paludan flashing a little smile every now and then while she casually strums her guitar. But don’t be fooled, these tunes can also carry heavy emotion. The band’s set is, in a word, delightful.

Here’s a clip from their Replay set over the weekend:

Editor’s note: Key Party will be playing the Free State Film Festival this weekend.
