In a grand gesture of gregarious nostalgia, scores of fans packed the Midland two nights in a row to watch The Postal Service team up with Mates of State for a lively and colorful performance.
The Postal Service indulged fans, some who traveled from several states over, in their decade-old popular hits. Mates of State were especially popular, seeing as how they have deep roots in Lawrence. Cutest moment of Tuesday night goes to Mates of State getting the entire venue to wish their daughter a happy birthday.
