“The Noise Boys” swept into KC Friday night to play a patio show at the Riot Room. It was a steamy evening, starting with Lawrence’s Rooms Without Windows, who put on a beach themed set. Staying with the beach theme, KC’s The Empty Spaces played their surf rock sound to the sweaty crowd. The Noise FM, Lawrence transplants to Chicago (are we sure they moved? they seem to be here in Kansas practically every weekend), took to the stage playing a set heavy with new music and announcing their CD Release show for mid-September. All in all, it was a perfect summer night.
