Radkey
In recent weeks, the Lawrence and Kansas City areas have enjoyed a deep love affair with the brothers in Radkey. The garage rock trio has been hard at work pounding out tunes at several shows (including the recent Lawrence Field Day Fest), and now they need your help getting a record put together.

They’re looking to record at Flowers Studio in Minneapolis and Wreckroom Studio in Brooklyn, where they’re set to play the Afro-Punk festival. Thousands of eyes and ears will be directed at the band during their time onstage at the festival, and they’re going to use that momentum to cut some pretty killer tracks.

They’ve launched a Kickstarter to help them reach their $5,000 goal, but their August 1st deadline is fast approaching. Rewards range from downloadable tracks to live performances. You can find out more about what the young rockers have to offer here. The Radke brothers have some big ambitions with this band, and this will help them take their rowdy voices across the nation.

Their next show is set for Saturday, August 4th, at the Riot Room in Kansas City. Their next Lawrence show goes down on Saturday, August 18th, at the Jackpot.
