In a few weeks, we’ll be making the trek down to Austin to cover SXSW; and we won’t be the only ones. Scores of local Lawrence and Kansas City bands will be heading down to show the live music hub what they have to offer, but they’ll need your help to get there.

Midcoast Takeover will be hosting a two-day showcase at the festival, featuring dozens of bands from Lawrence and Kansas City. Until then, the organization is holding a series of fundraisers to help get local bands down to the festival. They recentlyposted their fundraiser lineups on Facebook.
